Whatever sun you knew, whatever sky covered the world of your birth, is gone. You wake on cold stone. Torches burn on the wall, sending flickering light down seemingly endless hallways. The only sounds you hear are the echo of your own steps as you stand and walk down the corridor.
…Those are your footsteps, right?
Luckily, you are not alone. Others have appeared in the maze just as you did. Your fellow arrivals gather in the center of the labyrinth, where basic supplies can be found. Those brave enough to venture out can explore the winding hallways, but they must beware. The paths seem to have a life of their own, never quite leading where they did the day before. And something else. The arrivals are not alone. Something much older dwells with you now. When you walk the pathways of the maze, it follows.

Subterfugio is a game of survival and exploration. Players can explore the maze and learn the history and secrets of the world above. Inspired primarily by Greek and Roman mythology, players will encounter gods, creatures, and destiny. Subterfugio is open to canon characters as well as original characters.
